Born and raised in Newcastle, Ed’s journey into building began as a carpenter, gaining trade experience in Sydney and earning his builder’s license there. Over the years, he saw many of the heritage homes in his hometown being replaced, and it sparked a desire in him to return and make a difference. Ed wants to preserve the unique character of Newcastle while creating homes that's beautiful and high performance.
In 2020, Ed completed his Passive House Builder certification, allowing him to be able to create high-performance homes that are energy-efficient, comfortable, and affordable to run.
