Adapting projects to make them liveable and functional homes in a partnership is our ambition.

We promote a sustainable approach to building, not only by reusing materials where we can, but also embracing new technologies & techniques with the idea of ‘green building’. Using good design and building principles, can save energy, water & money, while creating a more enjoyable, comfortable home for you and your family.
Community focused:
Our commitment to the town we call home goes beyond just building houses. We are the Newcastle local builder. We support our community by sponsoring local sports clubs, sourcing materials from local suppliers, and giving back whenever we can.

Ed & Adapt:
Born and raised in Newcastle, after worked as a carpenter in Sydney and accomplished his builder’s license, Ed returned to Newcastle in 2018.
Over the years, he saw many of the heritage homes in his hometown being replaced, and it sparked a desire in him to return and make a difference. Ed wants to preserve the unique character of Newcastle while creating homes that’s beautiful and high performance. And so Adapt was born.
In 2020, Ed completed his “Passive House” Builder certification, allowing him “go further” to be able to build high-performance homes that are energy-efficient, comfortable, and affordable to run.
