We’re turning 5! Thanks for being part of our journey.
Time flies – this month marks 5 years since we started Adapt Building in Newcastle, and we wanted to say Thank you. Whether you reached out for a consultation, gave us a LIKE on Instagram, or simply showed us some love, you’ve been part of what keeps us going.

“I’ve always loved this town – Newcastle has been through so many Architectural eras, each with its own charm.” – Ed
Our core mission has been to retain those homes while bringing them into the future with modern and contemporary design, matched high quality building.
All of this is underpinned by an ethos of building comfortable, energy-efficient, high-performance homes.
One of the reasons we started Adapt Building in Newcastle is because of the community. Besides building homes, we’re especially proud of is Giving back — Since our inception, we have been sponsoring local clubs & communities:
We sponsor “Wanderers Rugby Club”, “Cooks Hill Football Club” and we support “Hamilton South Public School”, P&C Committee.

Along the way, as Newcastle local Builder, we’ve had the chance to transform homes, build relationships, and shape better living spaces for families across Newcastle.
We’ve refined our approach, deepened our expertise, and helped homeowners turn their vision into a long-lasting, sustainable reality.
Take a look at what we’ve been up to👇
🏡 Knock-Down / Rebuild:
This custom home is designed to “Passive Haus” standard, built with the principles.
Passive House means lower energy bills, year-round comfort, and a healthier indoor environment through continuous insulation, airtight construction, and mechanical ventilation.
We used prefabricated frames, to reduce waste and improve on-site efficiency. We also used local materials, to support local business.
This job has also been short-listed as a finalist in the Custom Built Home category in the 2025 HIA Australian GreenSmart Awards.
Stay tuned…!!!
